Ike's mom here: Just wanted to let everyone know what a stellar little champ Ike has been with my brother's 2 year old and the 5 month old baby. He's getting over his fear of strangers, and he's just been so easygoing with all the chaos around here.

It's Christmas!!!!

Enough said.
Merry Christmas to all, especially my beautiful wife, Martha!
Here are some pics.
We decorated cookies at my grandma's last night. That's me and grumpy Grandpa.

This was this morning when my mom told me Christmas is finally here!

And then she said lots of treats for me today!


And then I got a stocking with treats in it! Woot, woot!


And then we looked outside and saw that the rabbits were congregating last night.

Martha Luvs Ikes!

So I was having a really bad day because I was home with my sick dad and then I went out to pee and my dad was all like "oh, no! your pee is red, Ikenstein!" And I was like "so ..." So then my dad called my mom and I was rushed to the hospital which is ok because my mom works there and then they stuck a needle in my belly and they did x-rays because there was a lot of blood and the doctor was all "jeez, I hope there isn't a bladder stone!" And my mom was all "Oh, no!" so they did x-rays and there was no stone but there also wasn't a lot of pee because (this is really embarrassing) I was dribbling. So they cultured the drop they got and put me on antibiotics and pain killers and then I came home.
Ok - so that was the bad part of the day ... then I got home and had dinner like usual and the door buzzer buzzed and it was FedEx and there was a package for me and it was from my wife, Martha and it's the biggest treat I've ever seen let alone owned for myself and it says Martha Luvs Ikes and it has carob on it so it's like having chocolate without getting sick and there is also a bag of other treats and it's pretty much the best present I've ever gotten, like ever!
And now I'm feeling really guilty because I haven't found the perfect present for my wife even though I've been looking and my wife bought the perfect present for me!

FedEx.

So, my dad is all sick with the flu and is like "I have a fever, I don't feel good, I might puke ..." blah, blah, blah and the FedEx people came while he was in the bath tub and he missed the package. Nice. He better still be sick tomorrow so I get my package because I really, really wonder what it is and who it's from.
And for all who are wondering if I'm taking care of my sick dad, yeah, I totally am.

Random stuff.

So I was looking at my puglet friend Suki Sumo's site and she had this thing posted where you can find out what reading level is required for your blog.

So does that mean you have to be super smart to understand me and is that because I'm really confusing or just that advanced?

And this is a picture of all my favorite cards that I've gotten in the mail - all 56 of them! And I let my mom's one card join because I felt bad for it and I got really excited and messed them all up - woops!

Thanks to all my DWB friends for proving to my mom how much more popular I am than her (I still love her though.) In the words of Ruby "Woot!"

Mr. Popularity.

So I've been getting like 6 cards a day in the mail because I am so popular and I'm really happy that everyone has been sending them because it's helping my cabin fever. And today, my mom brought a tree in the house again like she did last year which is weird.

Depression.

So, I haven't been around much because I'm totally depressed because it snowed and I hate snow. I'm totally bored in the house and totally hating being outside. Does anyone have any ideas to help me with my cabin fever?

But it's not that deep, yet.


Oh, and one good thing did happen - I found some stray-cat poo and rolled in it and ate it. My mom was not pleased.

My most beautifulest wife.

So my wife, Martha, sent me a gift package yesterday and there were beefy treats and a sausage and a really cool camo shirt that makes me look like a bad-ass thug and Martha has a matching one in pink. I love my wife!

What's happenin.

So, things around here have been pretty quiet. We had Thanksgiving and I ate a lot of turkey and stuffing and stuff like that and I only had a little bit of soft poop and lots and lots of toooooots!

My grandma's friend Cheryl is doing a lot better and will start coming off her respirator tomorrow - so keep those healing vibes coming because they're working!

I'm still basking in the glow of my Modern Dog fame and the psychic has helped me with my fear of people because yesterday, I sat on my auntie Kathryn's lap 3 times and I've never sat on anyone's lap before except for my mom or dad's and I wasn't even scared and she gave me lots of treats and it was kind of awesome. And we stayed out until 4 am so I've been super tired all day. My mom and dad think they are in their 20s again or something because 4 am is really late.

And we did Christmas card pictures today - ugh - this is how I feel about Christmas card pictures.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and ate lots of good food and is finishing up their Christmas lists because Santa needs time to prepare!

Modern Dog.

So my mom e-mailed the dog psychic from Modern Dog Magazine to talk to me about some stuff going on and we got the new issue today and I was published! I highly recommend picking up an issue because I'm in it.

And my mom didn't scan the article for this post because that's copyright infringement, and the article is by a psychic so she would totally know.

Sunday, Sunday.

Just having a lazy Sunday with my mom and pops. I've been helping him nap.


Thanks everyone for the healing vibes for my grandma's friend, Cheryl. She is still in the hospital on a respirator and still critical, but she's stable and making minor improvements every day. So we still need more vibes sent her way. I think if they allowed dogs in the critical care ward, there wouldn't be anyone there because we would make them all better.

My grandma's best friend, Cheryl, is in the hospital - she has septicemia (for all you non-medical doggies out there, that's bacteria in her blood.) She's the most critical patient in the hospital. My grandma is very scared. Cheryl needs lots of healing vibes, fast.

Also, my friend Nate - you know the guy who I bit in the face - came over a few nights ago and I kind of think he's ok. And his wife Kristin came over and gave me lots of treats. If Nate has good taste in chicks, he probably has good taste in dogs and I probably shouldn't taste his face.

Disneyland!

So my friend Suki's birthday is tomorrow and we're going to Disneyland! I wish AireRuby was here right now!

Back home.

So we're home from the honeymoon which was awesome and what do I find but a sick mom which is also awesome because that means we get to spend the day together and catch up. But I do have to listen to all the annoying coughing and complaining. Whatever.

Honeymoon!

Hello all! I just wanted to give you a quick update on our honeymoon. We spent a couple of days in Paris after the wedding, but now we're back stateside staying at the Pink Dolphin because Joe and Tanner got us a weekend package and MY WIFE Martha just couldn't wait to be around more pink. Plus, there's dog poo all over the sidewalks in Paris and you just can't get anything done because you're sniffing all the time.
So here's a picture of us outside a cafe in Paris.



And here we are when we got to the Pink Dolphin and we totally have jet lag.


And this is us getting ready to take a nap and Martha brought treats which is awesome.

The Big Wedding!!!!

It's finally here and I got some pics back already. Martha is gorgeous, as usual, and I am the luckiest guy in the world!

This is supposed to be a formal shot, but everyone was being silly because we're dogs and hamsterriers so it turned out way better!


And this is Joe and Tanner before the wedding having second thoughts about the pink. Thanks guys for bucking up and dealing with it - you are true friends.

Costume contest.

So my mom loves Halloween, and when I say she loves it, I mean it's like better than Christmas and almost as good as her birthday because on her birthday my dad totally gets up early and makes her breakfast and gets her flowers and treats her like a princess which she sort of is sometimes.
