We are recovering from the tragic loss of Cosmo-Smeagol and things are back to normal now. I am like super excited because the weather has been really great except for today and it was even 80 degrees for a little while! I've been on tons of walkies, and we were even back to nite-time walkies which are pretty much my favorite kind of walkies.
My dad's hours were cut at work to 80% time, so my mom has been gone a lot lately because she has been doing some pet sitting to make extra money which means more treats for me, but it really sucks because she stays over at the houses and they are mansions because she works in a really rich, old neighborhood called Kenwood in Minneapolis. The house she stayed in yesterday's master bedroom closet is bigger than our bedroom and the lights automatically turn on when you walk in! Too bad I don't get to come too because I totally deserve to live in a mansion! The busy season is starting soon for my dad, so hopefully he will be back to full time, otherwise he will have to get a second job which really sucks. Stupid economy!
Here's a picture of me hating the economy.

Hi, Ike!
Is good to know you all are doing well.
This thing of the economy is bad, right?
That mansion sounds like a place where I'd love to live! Haaaa!
Kisses and hugs

I can't believe you don't get to go to work with your mom. There would be enough room for a little guy like you in one of those big mansions, huh?

Over 80 is too hot! Night walkies are scary. Too many critters out there.

Hi Ike,

Tell your Mum we think she is a star to help with the family budget. We were sorry to hear about your Dad but he sounds like a good guy and once everyone gets tired of feeling bad about the economy, we're sure things will turn around. The most important thing right now is not to tell your Dad you want to live in a mansion. Trust me on this.

Love, Dozer Dottie and Cooper

Hey Ike!
I got your card today. Thanks, buddy. I really enjoyed Mango Minster and it's always good to hear that other doggies had fun too. Can't wait for next year!

I'm with you, Ike. I hate the economy too. My Mommy is a teacher and she might lose her job for next year. :P

And also I am very sorry that you lost your little naked buddy Cosmo. He looked like a nice cat and it is really too bad that your kisses couldn't heal him. I know you tried your bestest.

Hey Ike,
Glad to hear you're recovering and getting outside to soak up some sunshine! That always makes me feel better.
You totally deserve a mansion, dude. You're like the BT version of Hugh Hefner.

Ikey, If your mom came to stay here, you would totally be welcome and I would let you snuggle all my stuffies. I might even let you operate on a couple of them ... but not hedgehog, monkey, squirrel ... well, I'll make a list in case you do come.

P.S. You should know that most people's closets are bigger than our bathroom, so don't get your hopes up for a big mansion over here.
