Prison break.

Ok, so I did something really bad and stupid today and now I have a big ouchie spot and my mom is frustrated and doesn't know what to do.
You see, I don't like being confined because I was confined all the time at the puppy factory so I get really scared and I shake and I hate it. So my mom started gating me in the kitchen so I would have more room but last week, I realized that if I try really hard, I can push out the gate. In trying really hard, I got bruises on my knees and chin. And when my mom came home today, she found me on the couch again - a guy needs to sleep after a prison break, right - and my left knee was skinned and my chin was more bruised and I hurt a toenail so my mom had to fix me up. And now she doesn't know where to keep me - should she try to let me stay in the living room and just block off the kitty roca box or does she start to kennel me again - so she wants your advice because she knows what I think.
So these are pics of my ouchie knee and Band-aids are really annoying.

And this is a picture of my dad comforting me and he's really good at it.

Oh, and this is really important news - I am the photo of the week on littlebeasts.com so go make a caption.

And also, on a sadder note - my kisses go out the the victims and their families from the Virginia Tech tragedy.

My Mom saw something that might work she says. But I won't tell unless you want me to. You don't, right?

Ouch, that looks like it hurts. You really need to be careful. I did a prison break one time from my crate and it was fun until mom came home and found toilet paper all over the house!

Oh Ike...your ouchies look really sore. I hope you feel better. I had my mom look in all her doggie catalogs but she didn't find anything, she said she'll keep looking.

Oh Ike, those look painful!!!

My mom just lets me roam all day and I sleep on the big bed. Sometimes I eat Kitty Roca too, but now I get sprayed everytime I get close to the box with the tasty treats.

My mom also makes my dad clean it out every morning before work because that helps too.

My people have gated off the parts of the house with the cat food and the litter boxes. Even further, they close the doors to those parts of the house when they leave me alone. I'm kept in just the living room, library and sitting room when my people are away, and the cats get the dining room, the hallway, the stairs, ALL OF THE OUTSIDE, the sunroom, AND THE ENTIRE UPSTAIRS!!!

Dude - something is WRONG with this picture. I am way, way bigger than all three of them combined!

I hope your ouchies heal. Hey if you break out of prison and don't do anything bad why doesn't your mom just leave you out to see how you do?

Hey Ike, I think you're just as - if not MORE - handsome than the guy in Prison Break. Too bad you have a girlfriend already....

Oh no Ike, you gotta be careful. You're parents love you a lot if they put bandaids on your owies and cuddle and comfort you when you're hurt.

Maybe your parents can keep you in one of the bedrooms so you have more room. I have to go in my crate because I'm obsessed with eating the insides of pillows, which is not good for me.

Hope your owie goes away soon, feel better,

Aw, poor Ike. Puppy factory? You lived in a puppy mill before? Did they use you to make more puppies? That makes me SO MAD! I hate puppy mills. They should be illegal in this country and the whole world!

Puggy kisses for your boo-boo

Ouch! Your ouchies look really oweee. How come you don't get to just be out on the couch? Did you chew it or pee on it or something? Our dogmom finally gave up on trying to crate us... I (Gomer) can unlock even the so-called extra-secure ones... and Opie chews through the wires and breaks teeth to get out. Dogmom decided if we were basically good boys, it's a lot cheaper not to crate us.

So, sometimes we go into our crates and lay down just for the fun of it!

Ike, having been there I know how hard it is to come from something bad to something good. I still slip up sometimes. And when Mom punishes me, I sometimes get scared like I was when things were bad.

After I chewed up some sofa cushions the other day trying to get my get my beloved golf ball out from between them, Mom threw the golf ball outside and gave me a time out. I thought things were going to be bad again and tried to make my Mom feel really bad. I got put in my time-out cage and then I saw her walk around the corner and tell my uncle, "This tough love thing is really hard when you know they're scared."

I know your Mom loves you and together you will overcome that stuff. Just don't let your Mom blame her gray hairs on you like my Mom does.

Ikey! You need to have your mom & dad give you free run of the house. I've been ruling the roost since I was 6 months old and Mom always tells me I'm in charge and make sure everyone else behaves. I send your knees kisses.
