OMD! Amazing Adoption Day Weekend!

Ok, so you know how I totally got screwed out of an adoption day party? Well, my parents totally made up for it over the weekend because on Saturday, they got people to have parties all over the country. We had a personal BBQ and then at night, they really pulled out the stops because there were fireworks all over the city! Can you believe it? Talk about making up for your mistakes! And then on Sunday, we went to a park for a hike and I was totes exhausted afterward and then we went to Trader Joes and I got a monster braided pizzle! Woot!

And this is from the BBQ when I got a whole plate to myself with a steak and salad and grilled toast with butter. Do you think it's super weird that I ate the salad first?

I can has steak chunk? Nom nom!

Can I have some more please?

Then we went on super long walkies with Grandma and Auntie Kathryn's super nice mom, Deb. And crabby Ruby.

And this is me and my mom in the forest on Sunday.

This is me and my dad. He's giving me chin scritchies which are pretty much my second favorite.

Isn't my dad handsome and nice?

And then we found this little grove of maidenhair ferns which are my mom's favorite ferns.

And then I was sooooo tired my mom had to carry me to the car and they blasted the A/C on me all the way home.

About the eye - we went back to the ophthamologist because my cornea is still taking up stain and he said it's healing totally slow, but it is getting better so we are giving it two more weeks and then if it isn't healed I have to have surgery which is $800 and my mom is all - OMG Ikenstein, heal, heal!

  2. We will pray very hard that you heal Ike. You look so happy with your Mom and Dad, aren't they the best, mine are too. Yummy foods but yuck on the salad, that is the one thing my Mom can drop and I won't even bother to eat it. The rest looked yummy though. I am so happy that they made up for your party

IKENSTEIN!!! AH HA HA HA!! LOVE IT!

I think eating salad first just means you have VERY good table manners...did Martha teach you that, or have you been gentlemanly all this time on your own?
